2. Characters that reply to you do not see the memory, they experience it. As though from the POV of your character. Your character may or may not have regained that memory already/be aware of the other person experiencing it. MEME MAGIC GO WILD!!

2. You're still Jake. That's cool. And you're currently field dressing one of the numerous stashed firearms that litters your bedroom. You know so damn much about these things and you sure know how to use them. Time to go venture out into the jungle and probably use them.

3. So you basically just had the most awkward conversation of your life. You confronted one of your best friends, Jane, about feelings you suspected she had about you only to learn that no, that was not the case at all! Man you feel like a tool. Oh well, at least this means you can talk to her about what you guess are feelings about your other best friend, Dirk. Man you actually feel pretty good about that afterwards.

1 ) There's nothing quite like an orange, you think. The feeling of pulling it off of the tree, long fingernails digging into the skin and peeling it away to reveal the delicious, soft fruit underneath. You eat five sitting right beside the plant, dropping the peels on the white, pristine marble of your greenhouse floor. The last piece you feed to your Grandpa, who's walking by. Gosh darned, that's a lot of oranges! His voice is resonant, deep. Proud, almost. Oranges are my favorite fruit, Grandpa!

Two weeks later, when he died, you vowed that oranges would ALWAYS be your favorite. And they still are.

2) You learned the rate of gravity the hard way. It wasn't intentional -- you were just trying to see if Bec would really let you leap off of a cliff into a waterfall, and apparently jumping off of cliffs when he's asleep means bad news for a seven year old. You scream, staring at the water, which comes with several sharp rocks destined to maim or kill you. Thankfully, you plunge into the deepest, safest part of the pool, swimming out quickly before anything can bite you or pull you back under.

Later, when you're wrapped in blankets, your white dog curled around you, you figure out through Grandpa's physics book that you fell at approximately 9.8 m/s. And you think -- well, maybe that's not so fast. I could fall that fast again.

3) The first time your hands bleed, it's under the nails. Cracking open, tearing, leaving space in their wake. But you have to find water-- you'll die without water. There's nothing to save you, no water in sight except for little acrid pools of salt. You can't drink that. The second time, it's when you scrape your hands on a jagged rock in your water hole. And the third, fourth, fifth, you can't count them any more.

The scars are left behind from digging, shoving rocks into the earth and scraping away the hard outer layers until you reach a soft, muddy center. By the time you get there, it's more blood than water. And it's not really water to begin with -- it's mud, pure and simple.

You shovel it into your mouth anyway. The blood tastes like iron, the earth hurts your body with every mouthful you swallow. Even though the earth left your hands bleeding, you refuse to give up. You refuse to die.

1. "Stop right there, Sora! You can't go!" A girl's scream, frantic and almost animalistic. Tsuki is panicking. This dark-haired girl is shaking you, hurting your shoulder, pulling your hair. "Ignore them. I'm the only person you'll ever need! I forbid you from talking to them-!" But there's the memory of a knife slicing through your forehead, furious tears, a single path through the forest branching out. And love, over all of that, and forgiveness. A little girl with red hair and an apple clip in her hair smiles at you.

You kiss Tsuki, and the screaming and the violence stops. Hello.

2. Cut through the apple, and remove the core carefully. Then slice the skin - ah, not like that! Leave some of the flesh underneath, like so. Then divide it. See, those are the ears of this apple bunny. Doesn't it look cute?

3. You're standing in front of a young girl, covered in wounds and bruises. Shielding her from the boy behind you. Your back is burning with the lashing of your opponent's whip, your shirt is in tatters and your hair yanked this way and that by the movement of the lash. But Tomoyo can finally believe in you, so you wipe away her tears, take a deep breath, and draw her spear with a shout. Utopia is here! It shoots out of her chest.

The spearblade goes directly through your stomach. The feeling of being impaled like this is unimaginable, but you stay conscious. Knights train every part of their body. Even their internal organs.

Becca's mother is drunk again. She's always drunk. And when she's drunk, she smokes. And when she smokes...she puts her cigarettes out on Becca's skin. Becca tries to get away, of course, but her mother is deceptively fast and their house doesn't have many places to hide in. It presses onto her arm, and it burns. Becca knows better than to scream, though--screaming gets her hit.

You two are only thirteen and it looks like your lives are ending because you're both on a suicide mission for the sake of your session.

3. God damn, you feel pretty rad about now. Your best bro is pretty much the biggest tool and nerd, and you'll never admit it. But him getting you Ben Stiller shades for your birthday is pretty fucking fly.
